Daddy Daycare Educare was founded in 2012. Our principal, who had been working as a Grade R teacher at a nearby school, began by caring for children whose parents were running late after school hours. This small aftercare service quickly grew as more families came to rely on her support. Seeing the potential, she moved the programme to her home, where her husband lovingly cared for the children most of the time — inspiring the name Daddy Daycare.

What began as a simple act of helping families soon blossomed into a growing vision. Together, they decided to establish their own daycare at home, starting with just a few children and building the business side by side as a team. Over time, Daddy Daycare Educare has grown into the nurturing, family-centered environment it is today.

Moeniebah Martin

Moeniebah Martin brings over 15 years of teaching experience to her role as principal of Daddy Daycare Educare. She is a loving and nurturing leader who is deeply committed to the growth and well-being of every child in her care.

Her passion extends beyond the classroom, as she actively works with families and the community to create meaningful opportunities for children.

Co-Founder
Ganief Martin

Ganief Martin is the co-founder of Daddy Daycare Educare and plays a vital role in the daily operations of the centre. His main responsibilities include maintenance, groundskeeping, and transport, ensuring that the environment is always safe, welcoming, and well cared for.

Known for his generosity, reliability, and supportive nature, Ganief goes above and beyond to create a nurturing space for both children and staff.
